Refund Policy

How Refunds Work for Portfolio Guardian
Portfolio Guardian subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store. Because of this, refund processing is handled by Apple or Google respectively, not directly by Scydex Ltd.
Requesting a Refund
Apple App Store
If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you must request a refund directly from Apple. You can do this by:
- Visiting reportaproblem.apple.com
- Signing in with your Apple ID
- Selecting Portfolio Guardian from your purchase history
- Requesting a refund through Apple’s process
Apple reviews and processes all refund requests in accordance with their own refund policies.
Google Play Store
If you purchased your subscription through the Google Play Store, you must request a refund directly from Google. You can do this by:
- Opening the Google Play app or visiting play.google.com
- Navigating to your purchase history
- Selecting Portfolio Guardian
- Requesting a refund through Google’s process
Google reviews and processes all refund requests in accordance with their own refund policies.
When Refunds May Apply
While refund processing is handled by Apple or Google, Scydex Ltd supports refund requests in the following circumstances:
There is a technical problem with the product
If you encounter a consistently reproducible error with the application that prevents you from accessing the Services, please let us know at hello@scydex.com. Please include specific information about the technical issue, your device type, and operating system version. We will work with you to resolve the issue or support your refund request with the relevant app store.
Access to the service has not been provided
If payment has been made and access to Guardian Pro features has not been provided within 7 days, please reach out at hello@scydex.com so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
When Refunds Do NOT Apply
We are unable to support refund requests in the following situations:
- You no longer need the purchased service.
- You don’t have sufficient expertise to use the service.
- You bought our service by accident.
- You are having trouble accessing the service because your internet is not fast enough, is not stable, or similar issues related to your internet service or device.
- You claim the app is experiencing a technical issue, but are unable or unwilling to provide sufficient evidence for the technical issue.
- A stock you tracked using Portfolio Guardian data declined in value. Portfolio Guardian provides historical data observation only, not investment advice, and does not guarantee any investment outcomes.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not trigger a refund for the current billing period.
To cancel on Apple:
- Open Settings on your device
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions
- Select Portfolio Guardian
- Tap Cancel Subscription
To cancel on Google:
- Open the Google Play app
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions
- Select Subscriptions
- Select Portfolio Guardian
- Tap Cancel subscription
After cancellation, you will retain access to Guardian Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
